Designer's Statement

Tuba Ergin
I am proud to have created the first warm, sustainable skirt. Especially with these cork details – it was a really difficult handwork to work the cork with the Tencel.
Material
This piece is made of Tencel Lyocell. Lyocell consists of processed wood fibers, mainly eucalyptus, sometimes also oak and birch. The wood comes from sustainably managed forests.
Tencel is good and healthy for your skin because no fertilizers or toxic pesticides are used in its cultivation, so no toxic substances touch your body. Many studies have already proven that clothing containing harmful substances can make you ill. It is therefore all the more important that your skin only touches natural, pesticide-free fabrics.
Fair Wear
We combine eco-friendly fabrics with fair production! This sustainable pieces was sewn in a small, family-run atelier in Istanbul under fair conditions. Our sewers all have insurance, a work contract and a wage that is far above the minimum wage in Turkey. If you would like to know more our producers, click here.
The skirt was designed as a combination with the Kibele and Maluma jacket. Feel free to look around for them to complete your outfit.
